Asprey announces an exciting collaboration with Princess Nourah Al-Faisal, jewellery designer and founder of Nuun Jewels, who created a highly exclusive limited edition of the iconic 1781 Asprey pochette.
The capsule collection will feature 5 very colourful interpretations of the iconic 1781 Pochette, incorporating traditional Saudi embroidery patterns representing the 5 regions of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Each design takes inspiration from iconic architectural and garments motifs as well as colours of each region, beautifully interpreted via extraordinary intricate embroidery patterns and achieved with the highest level of craftsmanship by the Asprey artisans.
“My intention with this collection was to represent the distinctiveness of five major regions in Saudi Arabia, showcasing the diversity, regional variations, and sheer beauty of our heritage. Each design meticulously weaves together the essence of a specific region, intertwining its colours, motifs, and embroidery techniques. By embracing and celebrating the diversity within our heritage, I aimed to create a visual narrative that instils a sense of pride and connection among individuals throughout the kingdom.” Princess Nourah Al-Faisal, Nuun Founder and Creative Director.
Part of the iconic 1781 Asprey Signature Collection which has been inspired by early 20th century steamer travel bags, the 1781 Pochette is renowned for its impeccable quality and timeless design style. The pochette can be worn held by the hand or cross-body thanks to its detachable shoulder strap. The collection will be sold exclusively at the Asprey Bruton flagship.
