Watch enthusiasts and connoisseurs alike eagerly await the unveiling of the Dubai Watch Week novelties, where the world’s leading watchmakers present their latest creations, pushing the boundaries of innovation and design. Here are our favorite new launches that we can’t wait to get our hands on… and onto our wrists.

Van Cleef & Arpels – Ludo Secret Collection

Introducing two novelties among the High Jewelry watches, the Ludo Secret creations celebrate the timeless elegance of one of Van Cleef & Arpels’ signature pieces: the Ludo bracelet.

Van Cleef & Arpels highlights this iconic collection with a new size of watch and two combinations of materials. Rose gold marries with diamonds or pink sapphires, minutely set in the High Jewelry tradition of excellence. As in the original creation, the watches’ flexible, brick-pattern meshwork recalls a belt. Like a finely woven fabric, the mesh links are carefully assembled by hand, one by one, to deliver optimal articulation and flexibility.

The Maison is also unveiling a unique new creation inspired by the 1941 Ludo Hexagone Macaron secret watch. The dial is hidden behind a motif adorned with Mystery Set emeralds, remarkable for its intense color effect and the complexity of its realization. For its part, the bracelet is composed of a meshwork of yellow-gold hexagons, punctuated with star-set emeralds.

Chopard – L.U.C. Strike One

Limited to 25 pieces in ethical 18-carat white gold, Chopard is deploying its expertise in chiming watches by unveiling its new L.U.C Strike One model. The timepiece chimes the passing of each hour on a Chopard-patented monobloc sapphire in a manner combining incomparably rich acoustics and emotional depth. Equipped with the new L.U.C 96.32-L movement, this refined 40 mm-diameter timepiece in ethical 18-carat white gold is chronometer-certified and bears the Poinçon de Genève quality hallmark. Its solid gold grey-green dial is hand-guilloché with a honeycomb motif. With its crown-integrated pusher, its slender 9.86 mm size and its crystal-clear sound, the L.U.C Strike One model endows the passing of time with an elegantly resonant dimension.

BULGARI – Diva’s Dream Peacock Collection

Divas’ Dream Peacock unveils new masterpieces, showcasing BULGARI’s artistry of marquetry and evoking the most exquisite and precious ancient mosaics: the Divas’ Dream Peacock Feather Marquetry, the Divas’ Dream Peacock Mother-of-Pearl Marquetry, and the remarkable Divas’ Dream Peacock Precious Marquetry with Jumping Hours and Retrograde Minutes, an opulent creation featuring a rose gold dial set with diamonds and inlaid with aventurine and malachite.

Through its expertise in jewelry, artisanal crafts, and horological complications, BULGARI celebrates the innate grandeur of the peacock, an enchanting creature within the brand’s bestiary, illustrating a continuing narrative of elegance and craftsmanship.

Girard-Perregaux – Neo Bridges Aston Martin Edition

Building on their official partnership, Aston Martin and Girard-Perregaux have jointly created a spectacular new timepiece, reimagining ‘the bridge’, one of the oldest mechanical signatures in watchmaking. A new addition to the famous Bridges collection, the Neo Bridges Aston Martin Edition showcases functional components often hidden from view and brings them to the fore. Inspired by Aston Martin’s next generation of sports cars, designers took influence from the world’s first Super Tourer, DB12, with the new watch reflecting the car’s sculpted contours and sharp lines.

Limited to only 250 pieces, The Neo Bridges Aston Martin Edition eschews a conventional dial to reveal its inverted movement, the Calibre GP0840000-2164, a configuration that brings components usually found to the rear of the watch, relocating them to the front. The Neo-shaped bridges support the gear train and balance and the wearer is invited to witness several parts in conversation, working together to impart time. Upholding Girard-Perregaux tradition, the arrangement of movement components confers symmetry, thereby delivering a harmonious appearance.

Breitling – Chronomat South Sea Capsule Collection

Breitling adds a dazzling new trio of color to its Chronomat South Sea Capsule Collection, designed to transport you to a tropical paradise of golden beaches, aquatic depths, vibrant flora and lush greenery. The new watches come in ice blue, green, and pink colorways that include metallic and mother- of-pearl dials, diamond-set hour markers, and multicolored gem-set bezels. Each can be paired with a matching alligator leather strap or Breitling’s distinctive metal rouleaux bracelet.

Underneath their exquisite exteriors, the Chronomat South Sea watches house the Breitling Caliber 10, a COSC-certified self-winding mechanical caliber known for its precision and reliability. With a power reserve of approximately 42 hours, these Swiss-made watches are designed to stand the test of time, much like the memories of a perfect tropical sunset.

The cases – in stainless steel, with bezels in 18 k red or white gold – are elegantly sized at 36 mm, making them a versatile choice for women’s wrists.

MB&F- HM11 Architect

Introducing the MB&F Horological Machine Nº11 Architect. A central flying tourbillon forms the heart of the house, pushing skyward under a double-domed sapphire roof. From this spinning core, four symmetrical volumes reach outwards, creating the four parabolic rooms of the house that is HM11 Architect.

The 90° angle of offset between each room means that you can position HM11 with one of its rooms directly facing you, or with one of the corridors of the house running towards you and rooms obliquely to each side. HM11 Architect is an energy-efficient construction — each 45° clockwise turn is signaled by a tactile click under the fingers, and delivers 72 minutes of power directly to the barrel. After 10 complete rotations, HM11 is at its maximum autonomy of 96 hours.

While the peripheral rooms of HM11 are surrounded by exterior walls of polished grade-5 titanium, the central atrium is open to the light, covered by a double-arched sapphire crystal roof. Underneath, the in-house HM11 engine hums away, its cadence set by the 2.5Hz (18,000 vph) balance of the flying tourbillon. Plates and bridges are coloured with a physical vapour deposition (PVD) process, coming in ozone blue or the warm solar hues of 5N gold, limited to 25 pieces each for the two launch editions of HM11.

HM11 Architect is available in titanium with blue dial plate and titanium with red gold dial plate- both limited to 25 pieces.
